The UFCL-limiter for Chengbei Project Passed the Inspection by DNV

On July 7, 2023, the UFCL-limiter for CNOOC Chengbei Oilfield have successfully passed the third-party inspection by Det Norske Veritas, the equipment will be shipped to the Huangdao construction base of CNOOC in the near future, and will be installed on the newly built CB CEPC platform. In this project, the Innovit Electric current limiter team and the partner XD Group have maintained a high degree of close cooperation, worked together to overcome a series of adverse effects, and achieved high-quality products within the tight delivery period, ensuring that deliver on time.

Chengbei Project is a continuation project of CNOOC Bozhong-Kenli Oilfield Group Shore Power Application Project, the platforms are interconnected to achieve sufficient and balanced power distribution. The UFCL-limiter is a key equipment of the power network to play an important role in this project, which is able to solve the problem of abnormally high short-circuit current, avoid the upgrading of equipment with low ratings in the existed power grid, and save a lot of investment, reduce losses caused by production interruptions caused by upgrades .
