Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, March 2013 —INNOVIT wins SINOMA’s order of current limiters for installation in Malaysia NSCI‘s 5000TPD cement plant project.
SINOMA was established in 1983. It is one of the top 500 Chinese enterprises and one of the world’s biggest players in the cement industry. Malaysia’s NSCI project is one of the turnkey projects undertaken by SINOMA.
INNOVIT’s advanced current limiting technology and solutions will be applied on the bus-tie section of the plant’s power supply. Not only does this greatly reduce the required investment in circuit breakers, they will also improve the reliability of the distribution system by reducing network impedance, thereby improving the energy efficiency of the system. When the feeder or bus bar distribution system encounters abnormally high short-circuit currents, the UFCL current limiters will act within 1ms, thereby ensuring that the short circuit peak will never be reached.
INNOVIT is an innovator in power and automation technologies that enables utility and industry customers to improve their performance while lowering environmental impacts. For more company and product information please visit www.innovit.com.cn
