In September 2024, after 50 days production, two units of current limiter for Delta Cement and Al-Douh Cement, have successfully passed the Factory Acceptance Test and are ready for dispatch. The contactor for the projects is Sinoma Suzhou.
The current limiters will be used to solve the short-circuit current problems caused by the parallel operation of transformers in the power system, and the interconnection of the waste heat power generation subsystem and the production line system, to guarantee the safety and efficiency of the customer’s production.
This project is the second cooperation between Sinoma Suzhou and Innovit Electric since the Iraqi SCP project in 2019, which fully demonstrates the Iraqi owners and Sinoma Suzhou’s recognition and trust in Innovit Electric’s advanced and reliable technologies.
Delta Cement Company Ltd. is a private sector company and has investment authorization from Kurdistan regional government since 2006. Its factory produces the OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) according to the Iraqi specifications. Through a wide range of traders and distribution agents, the company distributes its product throughout the Iraqi and KRD provinces.
Al-Douh Iraqi Company for Cement Industries Ltd. is one of Al-Riyadh Investment Companies Group. The company was established in the year 2008 under the Iraqi Investment Law No. “13” for the year 2006. It is one of the largest investment companies specialized in cement industry in southern Iraq, with production capacity of (1,500,000) one million and five hundred Thousand tons annually.
